It's a fantastic links course with some unusual holes - notably the 4th which features a fairway bunker with a 25ft wall. The course was in great condition with fast undulating greens. The clubhouse is very pleasant and features an array of golfing memorabilia which is well worth a close look. This is a must play course if you find yourself in the vicinity."

Aldeburgh Golf Club

Review Comment: "The course exceeded my expectations, found it a really great test of golf. The greens were true but not too quick, fairways in excellent condition, but it does play long when the wind gets up and although the fairways are generally forgiving enough for you to score well a bad shot will be punished severely should you go into any of the gorse that lines most of the fairways. All in all it is a proper championship golf course and you will need to be on your game to score well. Will definitely return."

Royal Cromer Golf Club

Review Comment: "Booking was very efficient. Pro shop welcome was warm, with our names actually printed on a list. A nice touch. We thought the course was in superb condition despite very dry weather. The tees and greens were immaculate. Clearly a very caring greenkeeper. Fairways were very well maintained. Many interesting holes, especially the lighthouse hole. Changes of elevation good and a mix of rough for wayward shots. The location and views on a fine day are stunning."

Sandiway Golf Club

Review Comment: "Onto the course, in a word 'brilliant' - a fantastic mix of parkland holes, with undulating fairways and greens that would challenge anyone, fair but also tricky with a great variety of contours, breaks and borrows. When you stood back and took time to look around, you realised the backdrop for the whole course was beautiful, trees and lakes surrounded by fields. I felt the course was totally fair, every hole gave you a chance, but also was quick to punish if you played a wayward shot."

Excellent coffee in the clubhouse prior to teeing off. Once on the course, I couldn't get enough of the place. Has some stunning views across the course, changes in elevation, sensible bunkering and decent greens. I would imagine it's stunning when the heather and rhododendrons are fully out. Was lovely as it was. It's a good couple of hours away from me and £70 twilight, but well worth both the time and the cost to visit. Can't wait to head back."

Conditioning is good; it had been raining a lot leading up to playing and the course had no standing water."
