Still the best all round package
Rockliffe Hall GC delivers in all areas, the course is fantastic, the tee boxes were immaculate, the greens were good for January and the hospitality was second to none. We were a group of seven playing under the ?49 winter offer and we enjoyed every minute of it. The food was great, the facilities are 5 star as expected and the way the staff look after you is fantastic. The guys with me got their trolleys and clubs cleaned as part of the whole experience and this just capped off a great day out. If you havent been here, you need to come and experience the whole package and thats before I even talk about how the hotel and spa garden are if you decide to stay over !Reviewer Rating

Roxburghe gc
Stayed and played in July 2021 at the Roxburghe Hotel and golf course. First class facilities at the hotel. Great staff to welcome our four ball. Obviously decent weather always helps but our two rounds upon the course were so enjoyable. Course in beautiful condition throughout. Regarding the Hotel. You’re a bit trapped as there is nothing close by. However we decided to have our evening meal, have a laugh and and a few drinks at the Hotel. Yes, it’s a bit expensive, but hey ho. No taxi fares. This is a venue I’ve been coming to for years. It never lets you down. In fact it just gets better as it matures. A fabulous golf course, always immaculate. I love it.Reviewer Rating

Rockliffe society day
Played Rockliffe 28/4/19 with society group of 18 players, greens in poor condition & bunkers in general. Good layout & great facilities, it was a shame about its condition at present. I would definitely wait till later in the year to play here to get value for money.Reviewer Rating

One of the best courses I have played
I play every other week, in the UK and overseas and Rockliffe rates up there in the top ten for quality, service and overall status. The staff cannot do enough for you, from putting your clubs on the trolley or buggy, to storing clubs and shoes, to cleaning your shoes after the round. The clubhouse and facilities are immaculate, this is a true 5 star experience and should be on your bucket list. Another tip, stay at the hotel and pay extra for the Spa Garden after your golf !Reviewer Rating

Fantastic chalenging course
What looks like a straight forward course becomes very tricky due to the strategically place bunkers of which there are many dotted around to swallow up any less than perfect drive, beautifully kept and tended fairways greens await the perfect hitters. Off the course the staff went above and beyond to make us welcome.Reviewer Rating

Gets better each time I play it
Opened now for around 9/years now and maturing into a great course. Always in great condition greens large and fairly quick. Long walks between some greens and next tee. Clubhouse and practice facilities second to none. Just play it you won't be disappointed.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Played end of October, greens still in great condition, rough cut back to give us a chance, a great tough course that's worth playing anytime, shame it's not a bit cheaper really as I would play it more often.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course, staff and facilities
Rockliffe Hall is a 5 star hotel with a lovely 18 hole course within the grounds. The clubhouse is superb and food, drinks and seating areas are all high quality. Some of the bar staff were new when we visited so things took slightly longer than we would have expected, but still good. The course itself is well manicured and has some challenging but inviting holes with plenty of water around. Well worth a visit to the course and the hotel (if you are feeling rich). The course costs ?70 a round ish and I would say its probably worth ?50-70 when compared to other courses we have been too. Disappointed to be asked for ?5 per nearest the pin and longest drive markers, took the class off the experience for me. I would go back but only as part of a visit to the amazing spa facilities within the hotel. The Mid-Week Driver package is decent and I took the wife who swapped golf for spa fun.Reviewer Rating

Superb
Great value at the price we got - an amazing venue - and lovely weather too! Our group was held up by two of our players searching for balls constantly - so a word of advice - make sure you have a provisional ready because balls can be lost 5 feet off of the fairways. Some cracking water holes - really great place.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 98 Handicap: 15.3)
