Love Rockliffe
Great course with some tricky holes. The only downside. There are some unrepaired pich marks and divets. Come on people repair as you play. Its part of the game.

Fantastic course, staff and facilities
Rockliffe Hall is a 5 star hotel with a lovely 18 hole course within the grounds. The clubhouse is superb and food, drinks and seating areas are all high quality. Some of the bar staff were new when we visited so things took slightly longer than we would have expected, but still good. The course itself is well manicured and has some challenging but inviting holes with plenty of water around. Well worth a visit to the course and the hotel (if you are feeling rich). The course costs ?70 a round ish and I would say its probably worth ?50-70 when compared to other courses we have been too. Disappointed to be asked for ?5 per nearest the pin and longest drive markers, took the class off the experience for me. I would go back but only as part of a visit to the amazing spa facilities within the hotel. The Mid-Week Driver package is decent and I took the wife who swapped golf for spa fun.

Superb
Great value at the price we got - an amazing venue - and lovely weather too! Our group was held up by two of our players searching for balls constantly - so a word of advice - make sure you have a provisional ready because balls can be lost 5 feet off of the fairways. Some cracking water holes - really great place.

This is a great golf course and is a test of your golf no matter the conditions or time of year. There is some truly great holes here with 4 & 5 particularly worth a mention. Facility’s are incredible and the staff can’t do enough for you in my opinion. And at £50 a round the course itself is worth that let alone the excellent facilities and service you receive.

Have played this excellent course a couple of times before, but gotta say it is now maturing into a fantastic course. Great setup, nice clubhouse. Course in excellent condition, tricky greens, lots of water. Fairly flat but a long walk round as over a huge area. If not played before it's a must try.

Lovely course though rough is punishing. Relatively open though. Greens didn't look the best but rolled well. Extremely long from the back tees but perfectly playable from the others.

The greens were poor in comparison to equivalent courses in the area and nobody seemed to own a pitch mark repairer, That aside, very enjoyable and a good challenge and nice setting. Played on a £30 twilight voucher and would play again but only on the same deal. £4.75 a pint,
