What the club says: Founded in 1898 Sickleholme is a small friendly club nestling in the heart of the beautiful Peak District of Derbyshire, some 13 miles from Sheffield, 16 miles from Chesterfield and 15 miles from Glossop. With an undulating parkland course of 6,064 yards (Ladies 5,399 yards) and stunning views, it is hard to find a more spectacular or enjoyable venue anywhere.

Nice Course
Played here in September 2024. First time visit and thoroughly enjoyed the course. Very undulating but fair. Course was in great condition, the greens, tees, fairways and bunkers all in good order. The members were friendly and welcoming. Nice clubhouse and reasonable prices for food and drink. Will return!Reviewer Rating

Society day
Sickleholme hosted our society day on 17th June. The organisation and catering were first class. The hot weather made this hilly course a challenge for some of our members but the course was in great shape and the views of the peak district are second to none.Reviewer Rating

Beautiful course in the Peak District
A very well kept course with excellent greens full of undulations and little slopes to catch you out. Some superb views from the course will take your mind off the (occasional?) bad shots that you hit.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 27.9)

This is truly a hidden gem in the Peak District. A very hilly course as you would expect here so be ready for a walking work out!
