What the club says: Designed by Harry Colt in 1923 to blend into the grounds of the estate, the courses combine challenging golf holes - ideal for competition, practice or tuition. The High Course plays host annually to the Hertfordshire Stag, as well as regularly welcoming such events as the Carris Trophy, County Championship and English Seniors Open.

Nice course - worth a visit
Nicely laid out, guide hilly and played on a very wet day. Fairways very sticky but greens still true and remarkably fast. Must be very difficult in summer!Reviewer Rating

Stunning clubhouse with great facilities. We played the high course which is a challenging parkland course with lots of ups and downs. The greens were lightning quick and the fairways slopey.

This is one of those courses you're always happy to be able to play. Steeped in heritage and sculpted into the natural beauty of the surroundings it never fails to make you say wow.. Add to that the course is spectacular, in amazing condition at all times and a teat to play.Reviewer Rating

Played the west course. Greens were much better than I was expecting, seeing as they were sanded a few days before. Public bar very small. Lovely coffee and rolls tho. And the halfway house is very nice.

Awesome Course/Amazing Clubhouse

Welcome Return
I haven't played this venue in many years but the course was in very good condition given the recent dry weather, the fairways and greens were lush you only found brown dry ground if you missed the fairway.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 12.8)

Impressive, but
This is a fabulous place. Very imposing clubhouse and a very good course layout. Unfortunately the greens had been recently sanded and weren't looking or playing at their best.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 14.2)

Better condition than Celtic Manor
Moor Park is an absolute treat! The condition of the course is exceptional and there is a good mix of challenging holes. The greens are pretty rapid but they run true. I played the High Course on this occasion and after playing the Belfry, and all three courses at Celtic Manor this year, this beats it on quality. I appreciate the other prestigious courses may have more challenging holes, but the manicured greens and fairways are spot on!Reviewer Rating

Played a match v Moor Park hence excellent value for money. Course in very good condition with very fast greens with subtle borrows. Bunkers looked very good but, fortunately, never had to try one out. A few bare patches on fairways but winter rules still in force.

Great course with wonderful clubhouse.
Played the high course on a lovely autumn days. Some fairways were a bit bare but many courses have suffered similarly this year. Preferred lies in play to allow you to find some grass to play off. Greens and bunkers in very good condition..Good food and comfortable bar with major wall and ceiling decoration.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING COURSE. UNFORTUNATELY THE HIGH COURSE HAS HOLES 3,4 AND 5 STILL AWAITING TO BE REOPENED AFTER EXTENSIVE REFURBISHMENT, BUT HAS BEEN DELAYED FOR A FURTHER 2 WEEKS DUE TO TH RECENT FREEZING WEATHER SPELLS. ALL IN ALL THOUGH A BEAUTIFUL COURSE
