If your looking for a course where every hole has a view of the sea and mountains then this is the place. A very friendly club and a great James Braid design, links golf at its finest. The clubhouse offering views or to sea is a lovely place to enjoy good food and drink after your round as you watch players take on the challenging 18th hole.

Very good course and great hospitality with a medium challenging course. Hole 14 is hard and great pictures with cows and beautiful beach line taken.

Terrific links course with great holes and great views. I was lucky with the weather, but can imagine how tough it must be when the wind really blows. The staff were very welcoming too. For those visiting Royal Dornoch just down the road Brora is well worth playing if time allows.

Amazing Course

What a fantastic course, beautiful greens which are sometimes tricky adding to the enjoyment of this great course. Stunning views- loved this course from the 1st to the 18th! Beware of the tricky par 3 18th.
Special mention to the staff who greet you with the warmest of welcomes - looking forward to retuning next year!

Pure golf

Standing on the 1st tee at 9.00 with the sun just rising over the North Sea. What can be better? Pure golf, none of these trees that constantly get in my way at parkland courses! The course played really well, the rough was just deep enough and the greens very firm. I still can't get my head around using a putter when I am still 20 yards off the green! Only one temporary green on the course, and I managed to win a quid off the old boy who agreed to take me on as his guest. I shall return.

Very rugged course, played in beautiful sunny hot day. The greens were really slow which was such a disappointment as we had been told they were the best around. This is not the courses fault however, but due to the hot weather with no rain that we had recently. This had not washed the topsoil away.

Excellent little course. Classic links, undulating fairways, beautiful greens (although do watch the electric fences designed to keep the free roaming cattle of the playing surface!) Both pro-shop and clubhouse very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely play again when in the area.

A very natural links course, you couldn't get any closer to the beach, with occasional sheep hence electric fences around greens. Perhaps not the hardest challenge in these modern times, but an absolute delight to play. Though like all links, a very different beast when the wind blows! Excellent selection of Par 3s.
