Hidden gem, very authentic, great views

Pure golf
Standing on the 1st tee at 9.00 with the sun just rising over the North Sea. What can be better? Pure golf, none of these trees that constantly get in my way at parkland courses! The course played really well, the rough was just deep enough and the greens very firm. I still can't get my head around using a putter when I am still 20 yards off the green! Only one temporary green on the course, and I managed to win a quid off the old boy who agreed to take me on as his guest. I shall return.

Highland gem
Fabulous golf course, beautiful layout and lots of great holes. This was a massive hit with all of our fourball in a wonderful setting.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 82 Handicap: 18.2)

Very rugged course, played in beautiful sunny hot day. The greens were really slow which was such a disappointment as we had been told they were the best around. This is not the courses fault however, but due to the hot weather with no rain that we had recently. This had not washed the topsoil away.

(Round played: Jul 2016 - Score: 84 Handicap: 18.6)
