What the club says: Designed originally by Tom Morris with later alterations to the course made by J H Taylor and James Braid, the current design has been constructed out of sandy hills covered with gorse and bracken and laced with grassy valleys, it is a tidy well kept Golf Course. It is also regarded as one of Norfolk's finest courses.

Marvellous course
One of my favourite courses and the amount of work going on here means it should get better. It's a top 100 course for some very good reasons and you should get along here and find out why. Some excellent holes, some fabulous views. Lovely people make it work too.Reviewer Rating

Exceptional Golf facility
If you like golf you will love this course. Its history and quality stand piut and the welcome they extend to the visiting golfer is excellent. I loved the history room that is accessible by arrangement illustration g its place in the history of the game of golf overall. The course has some standout holes but has to be experienced to get the full effect. From start to finish it is quality with unsurpassed views and vistas at every turn. It has a big emphasis on its sustainable practices and much of the land is an SSSI. I have been here several times and each visit I find something new to enjoy and take home with me. This is a special venue!Reviewer Rating

Such a lovely course and so much fun to play. Looks fantastic, is a serious challenge but so, so enjoyable.Extra friendly welcome from everyone from the Club Captain to the greens staff.
They even kept the bar open a bit later so that we could have a drink before the long journey home. Exceptional!

My favourite course in England
A stunning course that was in fantastic condition when we played (as always).Unlike some of the top courses you might have visited, this is also an incredibly friendly club - both the members and staff alike.
The Captain even stopped to chat to us after our round, about the improvements they have been making to the course.
No where else I would rather play a round in England.

Beautiful course in great condition
This was one of the friendliest courses I have played, as well as having stunning views, providing challenging golf, and being in superb condition. We paid £60 for a tee time after 14:00, which was great value. It was an unusually quiet day, so no problems with the pace of play (though this might not always be the case).Reviewer Rating

Lovely Course, definitely worth a visit
Very good golf course with some fantastic holes. The course and greens were excellent. Probably overall a slightly better golf course than Sheringham but much hillier (but not many blind shots). So If you enjoy your golf and exercise is important too then this definitely ticks the boxes!Reviewer Rating
