What the club says: The East Links at North Berwick, home to the Glen Golf Club is a delightful clifftop links course which enjoys panoramic views and offers a round of spectacular to golfers of all level of ability.
The Glen is one of the most popular courses in East Lothian and has often been described as a "hidden gem".
Andrew Coltart, the former Ryder Cup and European Tour player described the Glen as "Scotland's answer to Pebble Beach", say no more! The signature hole is the stunning Par 3 13th which offers wonderful views of the Bass Rock, the world renowned bird sanctuary.
The course is located on the east shore of North Berwick, visitors will be guaranteed a warm welcome from all the Members and golf staff.

The poor relation in East Lothian
Neither links nor parkland and vaguely clifftop, The Glen is very much the poor-man's choice in East Lothian: the municipal course at Winterfield is better value. I recommend saving up to play the properly top-class tracks such as Gullane and North Berwick not to mention either of the Archerfield courses. The Glen is the Vauxhall Astra of East Lothian - not very reliable, not st all attractive but cheap and dowdy.

The 'younger' of the two courses at North Berwick and therefore more affordable. More exposed than the West Links as it sits on the cliffs to the east. Was a challenge in 30mph westerlies! Great views of the Firth of Forth. Staff very welcoming. Slight disappointment that for the signature hole, it is a blind tee shot off the whites.
