What The Club Says
An Open qualifying course, the golf club was founded in 1832. It has an antiquated charm with walls, burns, yawning bunkers and commanding views out to sea and of the Forth estuary. Course designers all over the world have copied many of the testing holes.

Memorable, but outrageously overpriced
I played this course a number of times in the late 90’s and 2000’s, and it was always a very enjoyable day, with a quirky seaside course. The increase in fees from £38 a day to £285 for a single round in the last 25 years is nothing short of scandalous, and unjustifiable. There are far better courses out there, and though it does have a certain charm to it, it is now the preserve of the bucket listers only. Shame.Reviewer Rating
