What The Club Says
Established in 1889, Blairgowrie Golf Club is certainly one of the top inland clubs in Scotland. The Blairgowrie Golf Club offers the chance to play on two of the finest championship golf courses, and one of the best 9 hole courses, in Scotland:
The Lansdowne Championship Course, host of major PGA and SGU events.
The Rosemount Course, venue of Greg Normans first European tour victory.
The Wee Course, a challenging par 32. The nine-hole Wee Course is perfect for a warm-up round or for golfers just starting out.

Top Heathland Course
Just played in the Mixed Open yesterday on the Lansdown course and I could wax lyrical all day, but simply put, golf just does not get any better than this.My credentials, played for 60 years, lowest handicap was 2, now 8, played all Open venues apart from Royal St. George’s (too far).
The course is just superb, lovely club house, a great welcome from the staff, and the food is exactly what you would want at a golf club, great quality and a good quantity.
For those that have not played at Blairgowrie, you are missing out on a golf course that must rank in the top five heathland courses in the UK.

Lansdowne Course = Slightly Disappointed
Reading reviews about the two 18 hole courses at this golf club I went with very high expectations so this review may be coloured by those. My initial contact inside the golf shop wasn't great as I wasn't even directed to the first tee - had to ask. I played the Lansdowne course on a sunny afternoon. Course conditions were excellent, there is no doubt that the green keeping team maintain the course to the best standards. It was the course itself that I was disappointed by as the defence of most holes was simply narrow fairways and strategic bunkers. Almost every hole was straight so if you hit the ball straight and kept yourself out of the trees and sand it presents the minimum of challenge. Frankly, after five or six holes I was wanting something a bit different to make me think about strategy.Reviewer Rating

Beautiful course Great experience
The facility has a well earned high reputation developed since the 1890's. the Rosemount is a superb design maintained in top quality condition. The Scottish amateur Open is to be played at this venue later this year. The bunkering is fabulous with a natural topping as loved by James Braid. The pro shop and clubhouse are excellent with customer service that leads to me realise that the 100% Highly Recommended rating is no accident.i played at this venue in a UK team competition and it was excellent on both days. Food superb.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 17.8)
