What the club says: Situated 4 miles NW of the City of Hereford in beautiful Herefordshire Countryside. The walking is easy on gently rolling fairways around two lakes.
There is always a background of hills and woods and in the distance, views of the Welsh mountains. A special feature is playing through mature cider orchards.

A Must Play
What a wonderful golf club. Lovely club house, superb pro shop and the course, although showing signs of the recent dry weather on the fairways is very good, considering. Although some damaged areas around the final par 3 should be GUR. The greens were superb and we all enjoyed the game.Good food, and all the staff were polite and attentive.
A must play if you're in the area.

Great course
I have played here for many years and it has developed into a fantastic golfing challenge. The tees are always in top condition, the fairways very ?clean? with very few bad lies and just enough grass to tee the ball up. The rough is manageable, sometimes a little deep when clover is growing and the ball can get buried making it difficult to find. There is quite a lot of copse and wood, but unless you go deep in there is usually clear space to get at your ball. The greens are superb, usually running between 9.5 and 11 on the stimp. There are water, bunker and lateral hazards to keep you concentrating. The facilities are excellent and the staff always very helpful.Reviewer Rating

Been coming back to Burghill for about 12 years now with a society of about 30 plus and must say its the best course in Hereford the greens are amazing and every one the same pace not a mark on them the food is top class and the welcome is as always superb Denise the booking manager is so helpful and Mark who is an owner comes to have a chat to make you feel at home will be booking again for next year soonReviewer Rating

Friendly club, picturesque course.
From the short blind first to the short blind 18th, there are so many different holes here. The course isn't the longest, but you get what you hit and even the rough gives you a chance. Greens immaculate.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 86 Handicap: 20.5)

Course is only 20 years old and quite forgiving (despite a terrible round!). Greens will be nice in a few weeks once they've recovered from the weather and treatment. Good value thou
