What The Club Says

Our executive par 30 course has a reputation as one of the toughest in the country. Opened in 1989 it has superb undulating greens to test the putting ability of even the best players.

It is a flat, easy-walking parkland type course with trees and water-hazards being the course's main defence. The signature hole is the 8th - and although only 251 yards, it requires a good tree shot to find just the right place to get a clear second shot in. The second shot is over a pool with the green directly behind it.

Probably the best par 30 course in the UK

Amazing little course, the greens are the best I’ve played on for along time, given this course has been open all winter where as everywhere else was closed, it’s a true credit to their owners. Only criticism is it should be more expensive to play.

Hidden gem

Short and quirky but a great, fun course. Narrow in places so shot placement is vital to record a good score. I initially played 9 holes but couldn’t resist a further 9. Fantastic - I will return before my holiday ends.

Millionaire's Golf!

This is a great little 9 hole course that offers plenty of interest and some tricky challenges. It is particularly good for your short game with 6 par 3's with super fairways and neat greens. Going around twice enables you to keep your handicap going. It is not a member of England Golf however so scores can't be registered on HowDidYouDo etc. The course is generally narrow, so those that have large fades or draws are penalised- straight hitting highly recommended! There is a bit of water, with a lateral hazard on the 8th. There are only a few bunkers.

Little gem near Hereford

Very good short course, some interesting and challenging holes.
Ideal for all standards of player from a novice to low handicapper. With all the par 3's makes you think on iron choice. Well worth a visit

Could be great...

This is a short yet testing 9 hole that really got under my skin! This course is guaranteed to test even the lowest of handicaps with its narrow, tree lined fairways and postage stamp greens demanding precision approach play for any hope of a low score. That said, it’s flat and easy enough to get around, with consistent and impressive greens.\\\\However, there are a number of snags:\\\\There are LOTS of trees, so much so, you almost feel a little claustrophobic getting around. Some trees punish good drives (e.g the 7th) and this makes it unfair in places. The course feels like it could do with a good trimming back generally, as it’s a bit wild.\\\\The bunkers are useless. The sand is unplayable when wet and full of stones.\\\\On many holes you are playing off mats. The mat on the 4th and 9th are particularly battered.\\\\The course generally looks a bit messy, with blue bins serving as signage for which hole you are on and lots of felled trees and branches littering the place.\\\\Overall, this is a course with much potential, and certainly not a round you will forget in a hurry! I feel it needs a little more love, care and attention to really make it a course worthy of real credit.

I don't know where to start, I really don't.
The signage is shocking, the fairways are incredibly bumpy, the greens patchy and the bunkers filled with incredibly hard sand that wouldn't be out of place on a building site.

The carling is flat as a pancake, as is the lemonade. The egg sauce on offer is not up to scratch either.

One positive to take away from this experience is that the burgers are probably up there with the best I've tasted
