What the club says: Just five minutes from the A4 or the A361 this is a wonderful example of a downland golf course. While it is relatively short by modern standards – 6414 yards off the white tees – the course tests even the lowest handicap golfer. Every hole poses a different question, a small green, an elevated tee and so on. While there is little or no water to contend with, the sloping fairways and strategically placed bunkers will give you plenty to think about. At its highest point - the 6th hole – you are 700 ft above sea level and the views are awesome. The terrain ensures that the course drains well and very few golfing days are lost each year.

Twilight Golf
Played as a visitor on the twilight offer, nice course with variety of holes, nice par 3?s challenging 4?s and achievable par 5?s. Stunning location, with amazing sunset views over Wiltshire countryside.Reviewer Rating

Played here for the first time as was staying in the area and looking for somewhere to play. Excellent course in good condition with quick greens. More interesting that I thought it would be with change in elevation as you go round, especially on the front 9. Back 9 is different in it's own way with some cracking holes. £50 green fee on a Thurs morning was well worth it. Didn't get the chance to sample the clubhouse as had to shoot off post round but appeared to be nice. Helpful lad in the pro shop pre round and generally a good vibe during my visit. Pace of play was also excellent with me making it round in around 3 1/2 hours. Would like to play it again in due course.

A joy as always
A great course with lots of different and challenging holes. Some lovely open fairways but some very tight ones with unforgivable rough! Always a great place to play and you are always made to feel very welcome(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 94 Handicap: 19.4)

Beautiful course

Well worth a visit excellent park land course with some really tough holes it’s a course you have to think about every shot, you can’t just blast a driver off the tee.

A good course where the last 7 holes prove a real test, even more so when the wind blows, (which it did). The greens were very good well done to the greenkeeping staff.

Well worth a visit
