Tight course and have to think your way round. I didnt!!! Course in good condition, greens running well.

Course very wet after prolonged rain. Reduced green fee because of the condition of the fairways, which were barely playable. Greens were good and tees were all off new mats which were very good. Course is a good layout which is being restored following previous issues. When the drainage is resolved (looks completed in the bunkers already) the course will return to be a good standard. Glad to see the course on the way back.

New owners have taken over what is now Brentwood GC.

Plenty of work taking place and the course is getting back into a decent shape. The greens are below average, with long grass (for a green), but I suspect this is to allow the greens to get better faster. Probably looking at next year before they will be in a good condition. Rest of the course is good. Bunkers are being worked on, but I do think they have put too much sand in them!

Nice layout that could be very good if the money is spent on the course, which it looks like they are doing.

Nice layout but the course was in a poor state as the grass either hadn't been cut or the cuttings were left on top. Early holes took us ages through having to find balls lost in the fairway! Bunkers are awful and are just mud and stones.

It's a shame as the location and layout could be very enjoyable.

Didn't think course was in great condition. Greens good and tees ok but bunkers did not have good sand and had Grass growing in them.

Going downhill

Course ok, greens a bit slow, lots of worm casts, minimal bunker maintenance. Clubhouse v tired and untidy, dirty, feels unhygienic. Christmas decorations still dumped in a box in corner of changing room.

Nice course - but!

Course in good condition apart from the bunkers. Many were GUR and those that were not should have been. Shame as the Course is a good challenge and this is the only aspect letting it down.
