Bunkers in so much better shape then they have been.

First membership round
New member and my first round.Everyone from PGA Pro, general manager to ladies in bar were welcoming and happy to answer questions.
Working toward getting a handicap and then getting involved in a few early morning swindles.
Have booked up my 2nd round using easy BRS Golf app on I Phone so looking forward to getting back on the course and playing another full 18.
Would recommend visiting course if not a member as it is in top handful of Essex courses I have played for sure.

Course was playing well, grown the rough making the course that bit harder. Lots of thick lies which was a nice challenge.

Brentwood Golf Club
Played in July still in the covid crises. The course was in good condition, the greens were good and the service in the clubhouse was great, we still could get a breakfast before playing which was great. As we still had the covid issue the holes were the Normal depth but had a section of pipe insulation in them to stop the ball reaching the bottom, this was very effective so the ball did not spin out, a good idea with little cost. If I lived nearer I would probably join this club as I love the layout.Reviewer Rating

The early bird gets the round
Amazing feeling today putting was good iron play was great, the course was in great condition!!! enjoyed playing the round on my own could really concentrate what I was doing.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 84 Handicap: 11.8)
