A truly special place to play golf. Amazing in every way, wonderful scenery, amazing buildings, cinematic history and of course brilliant golf holes. We played the Alison and Lane Jackson nines, the Alison was slightly better, but nothing here will disappoint. Better than the Belfry Brabazon for me.

A superb 'resort' style course. Punishes wayward shots, and greens undulating and tricky.

Fairways and Greens were excellent. Challenging very well kept course but the halfway house was too expensive.

Beautiful day and a lovely course..only downside were the greens. Patchy and very bumpy throughout, which slightly let down an otherwise very good test of the game.
As others have mentioned, the 7th hole is a real treat. Possibly one of the best par 3's I've ever played. We played from the back tees...the green has a serious slope towards water at the front and the back of the green holds a long bunker ready to catch any over hit tee shot. A par here feels like a birdie.
Overall, a great setup, shame about the greens.
