What the club says: Opened in 1994, The South Buckinghamshire Academy is the ideal family golf centre. The 9-hole gentle course will suit everyone from the novice golfer to the more experienced player.

Course is in good condition it's a shame that the council are going to close the course in September

I've played this course many times and I always seem to return now and again. The condition has, in my opinion, deteriorated slightly, but to be honest its never been great. However, its a convenient 9 holes without too much fuss and Its a good place to put your game 'back in order' although it may not help your putting. The course has been improved to include a par 5 and one of the 3's is now a 4. Played 9-9-2014 Score 42 H'cap 27.5

As it's been said already, good course for beginners and it has a few long holes. It could be starting to out price it's self. Better local 9 hole courses about and cheaper.
I use it as it is very local but looking at better local clubs now.

cheap and simple municiple course, slow greens and improving but still quite poor condition. Getting better slowly over the years. Could be better but needs major investment, in many ways...leave it as it is, cheap, quick and simple.

Well this is the course I learnt how to hit a ball, it is fairly short but I got the bug, I am now a member at Chartridge Park BUT would still pop here for a quick 9 holes or use the range, very simple course now I look at it, but a couple of tricky shots, if you hit big 220+ you would monster the course but I just enjoy a 7 iron practise and lengthen the longer holes, use it as a practise course, greens in good condition, Bunkers not so good, never to busy, good parking, Never gonna be Birkdale but the prices dont reflect that, if you are just starting or just want to practise then this is great, get the clubs out and go for it.

Best course i have played at in the UK. Beats Stoke Park hands down. Greenkeepers should be rewarded for the exquisit efforts. Will definately be back again.
