Terrible
Could possibly be the only course in history that has had a re design and a makeover and it’s worse than it was. Awful fairways and even worse greens. The driving range and practice facilities are top notch which is a positive. Why build a new course and not look after it?Reviewer Rating

Learnt to play here when I was a kid, they've been building the new course for the last 6 or 7 years and it was great to play it! Great new and improved course, feels grander and the greens are great - some really great holes in here!

Shortened course with industrial course maintenance going on, diggers and other vehicles moving from 6.30 alongside 4 holes, with the first hole bordered by a site fence. The bunkers are in a sorry state, containing rocks and with little to no sand in them to match with the tee holes which are hillier than the rest of the course combined.

Nice course, friendly staff.
Course is having an upgrade so lots of work going on but it's still very good value for money and the course is well looked after but has got a fair bit of ground under repair.
Looking forward to the new course being completed.

Work in Progress
Course has been temporarily reconfigured due to the housing development going on. Not sure how long it will last but it's said to be a championship standard course when the houses are built and the course fully extended. Not so at the moment though. No par 5 holes and temporary greens on a number of holes are tired and unloved. Doubt I'll play there again for a while...(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 97 Handicap: 26.4)

Good course

First time at the course
The course was fair and due to the refurbishment being done to.the main 18 hole course and this.was a temp course. would like to.play again when the perm/real main course is open. all facilities and food was very goodReviewer Rating

The return of golf. 29/03/21
Well what a lovely day to return to golf. Not one of my best scoring rounds, but good to get rid of the rustiness. Beautiful weather, golf course looking much better than it has been and great to see so many familiar faces up there today. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves.Sharon I hope the turn out today was what you expected, I know you and the staff have been working hard behind the scenes, to make today happen, so on behalf of everyone thankyou????????
Due to still having some restrictions in place and with the rebuild of the championship course taking place I've left ratings of good and fair. But other than that, if you go with a open mind and see the work being put in the future is bright.

Shocking
Greens in a shocking statePeople just jumping in on the 10th hole who haven't even paid
The hole is tops 10mm deep with a rubber spring at the bottom of the flag
The tees are either overgrown or there are so many divots it's hard to find a place to pot your tee

Course in varied conditions disappointing

Good challenge
Played here again after a 5-year absence. Early morning round - please note that you'll be paired up with other players as the course is busy. Greens were in good condition, but fairways and tee boxes a bit iffy. Good pace of play. Course layout a bit one up, one down with a 2-3 doglegs. Course is tight so you need to be accurate.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 13.8)

Course played farm and well, greens in good condition. Play was a little slow as the club was very budy.

Overused and poor maintenance
We are only in May but the tee box is being "chopped up" and is now very uneven. Fairways is ok but some parts have not recovered from last summer. Greens are very uneven, bumpy at times and different speed. It makes putting a guess work. The layout is flat and uninteresting.Reviewer Rating

Tired looking
Considering we are in May, I thought the course was looking a bit tired. The tee boxes are just awful. The actual fairways are not bad, greens had recently been punched which, whilst it can’t be helped, makes for a frustrating round as putting is a lottery. That said, it is a cheap and cheerful course, you get what you pay for I guess. I’ll still be back at some point.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 101 Handicap: 22.9)
