The return of golf. 29/03/21

Well what a lovely day to return to golf. Not one of my best scoring rounds, but good to get rid of the rustiness. Beautiful weather, golf course looking much better than it has been and great to see so many familiar faces up there today. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

Sharon I hope the turn out today was what you expected, I know you and the staff have been working hard behind the scenes, to make today happen, so on behalf of everyone thankyou????????

Due to still having some restrictions in place and with the rebuild of the championship course taking place I've left ratings of good and fair. But other than that, if you go with a open mind and see the work being put in the future is bright.

Great course !

Great course for all handicappers some tough holes but also some
Very forgiving holes for the new golfers

Fantastic pay and play course

Having read some mixed reviews I felt compelled to submit a very positive one. Played Weham for the first time in 20+ years today as we normally stay closer to Reading area. This is a really fantastic public course: fairways were in very good condition; greens were excellent and overall it was very challenging (for me).

Our tee was 7.32am.....one group who remained two holes ahead and nobody behind us all round. I found it particularly challenging with some quite narrow fairways; even on more open fairways the heavy wooded areas alongside are unforgiving. All in all it was a real pleasure to play.

We didnt get much time to practice but the driving range, putting green and practice green with chipping are WAY better than any of my usual courses.
Clubhouse is fantastic/new and the staff, both in the pro shop and club were very welcoming. We'll definitely be back......
