Over priced, been playing this course for years
now and have watched it deteriat, over the years all the owners want to do is take as much money of you as thay can. The upkeep 9f the course by the so called professional groundsman is appalling, I watched a youngster move a putting hole and he didn't even fill where he moved it from so I done it.
Another time a older green keeper come on the
green course drove his buggy like an idiot. THIS PLACE HAS G9NE RIGHT DOWNHILL.

Terrible
Could possibly be the only course in history that has had a re design and a makeover and it’s worse than it was. Awful fairways and even worse greens. The driving range and practice facilities are top notch which is a positive. Why build a new course and not look after it?Reviewer Rating

Shortened course with industrial course maintenance going on, diggers and other vehicles moving from 6.30 alongside 4 holes, with the first hole bordered by a site fence. The bunkers are in a sorry state, containing rocks and with little to no sand in them to match with the tee holes which are hillier than the rest of the course combined.

Work in Progress
Course has been temporarily reconfigured due to the housing development going on. Not sure how long it will last but it's said to be a championship standard course when the houses are built and the course fully extended. Not so at the moment though. No par 5 holes and temporary greens on a number of holes are tired and unloved. Doubt I'll play there again for a while...(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 97 Handicap: 26.4)

Shocking
Greens in a shocking statePeople just jumping in on the 10th hole who haven't even paid
The hole is tops 10mm deep with a rubber spring at the bottom of the flag
The tees are either overgrown or there are so many divots it's hard to find a place to pot your tee

Course in varied conditions disappointing

Terrible
Played here Saturday 1st July for the first time and it was an absolute nightmare. Tee'd off at 2PM and it took us just shy of 3 hours to play the front 9!!! We played the 10th hole, walked back to the car park (across the 3rd hole) and called it a day.From the third hole onwards, we would be waiting on the tee with the group in front AND the group behind. Complete joke. Three ball in front of us, a four ball in front of them and a FIVE ball in front of them.
Tee's are booked in 8 minute slots so it's very much a "cram them all in" style of golf club, which is a shame to say the least. When will these golf clubs learn that it takes the very best of four balls to play holes in 8 mins? The standard of golf I saw at this place, they should have 20 min gaps!
Average golf course (from what I saw), but wouldn't pay a penny more than £20 and will not be back.

The 10th hole on the blue course. You shoot your drive down the middle to be confronted by a large tree in the middle of the fairway. After much head stratching decided to play round it. Pass the chainsaw someone.

Not what it used to be
Shockingly poor redesign. Greens in terrible condition. Some bunkers full of stones. Course feels crowded as people all around you most of the time. It used to be fantastic back in the day but now is awful. Not worth the money.Reviewer Rating

I think this is the second season of the reconfigured Blue Course which is still maturing. Unfortunately there are too many bare stretches where grass hasn't grown over to cover sunken drain pipes, leaving fairways looking scarred. I can't help but think the course is designed for users of buggies given the wide pathways and distances from green to tees on many holes. What was not helpful and there was no mention from the staff in the Pro Shop, was that wi-fi based range finders (like my Garmin) would not recognise the blue 18 hole course. Having to use the old fashioned 'guess the distance' method to any point of a particular hole annoying particularly where there were blind hazards! I'm sure the points made can be rectified and when completed I would be delighted to play the course again.

First time at the course

Overused and poor maintenance
We are only in May but the tee box is being "chopped up" and is now very uneven. Fairways is ok but some parts have not recovered from last summer. Greens are very uneven, bumpy at times and different speed. It makes putting a guess work. The layout is flat and uninteresting.Reviewer Rating

Used to enjoy it, spoilt for me..
Used to play this course regularly, but I believe that much of the charm of it was lost, when the "red" 9 hole was lost to be incorporated into the blue 18. I enjoyed both the red and the blue and when they combined them, they cut out quite a few of the holes I really enjoyed. I understand that the course needs to appeal to a wide audience, but I won't play there now, as the thing that made it special has been lost for me.Reviewer Rating

The course definitely has potential to be a very nice course but unfortunately it is very poorly kept, the greens are always absolutely covered in bird poo, and this wouldn't be a problem if it was the odd piece as it's tough to maintain to 100% condition throughout the entire day, but every green had 20-30 pieces on it. How am I supposed to make a put when there's 4 pieces of poo on my line. Despite this the service was good and the staff were helpful and friendly

Considering the weather in reasonable condition. Also not too busy which can be a problem here. Not played it for a couple of years - but a pleasant round certainly consider coming back again later in season.

The front nine was a mixture of par 3s and fives and quite challenging The greens were in a poor condition and fairways were very dry and hard The back nine part of old course was in better condition including the greens
