Great value for money. I thought it was a good test for any golfer with ditches running across a lot of the fairways and trees to shoot over to reach some of the greens. Makes you think a lot about positioning of tee shots. Long par 5 15th hole was a good test - right into the wind when we played. Most of the holes are close to each other so there wasn't much of a walk between greens and the next tee.

One of the best value courses around. Greens are well kept. Some challenging holes, especially the ninth - where you need an accurate tee as well as a good second over water hazard shot not to be in trouble.

Work in Progress
Course has been temporarily reconfigured due to the housing development going on. Not sure how long it will last but it's said to be a championship standard course when the houses are built and the course fully extended. Not so at the moment though. No par 5 holes and temporary greens on a number of holes are tired and unloved. Doubt I'll play there again for a while...(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 97 Handicap: 26.4)

Shocking
Greens in a shocking statePeople just jumping in on the 10th hole who haven't even paid
The hole is tops 10mm deep with a rubber spring at the bottom of the flag
The tees are either overgrown or there are so many divots it's hard to find a place to pot your tee

Public 2 course golf club
Fantastic greens on the blue course. Not sure why the other course was not offered to me, but still very happy with the cost only ?20 on a Sunday. Needed GPS because there is no centre fairway posts and the 150 & 100yards posts are hard to spot.Reviewer Rating

I play here regularly. The Blue course is a challenge for me (27 handicap) and is really enjoyable. There are plenty of hazards, thoughtfully placed trees and tricky greens, meaning I have to keep focussed throughout the round.

Very slow, waiting on almost every tee. Greens had also been recently irrigated. Fairways were in pretty good conditions.

Played this course many times, a favourite at only £18 on weekend afternoons. A few of the longer holes lack imagination, where only a wayward shot will be punished. Some of the other holes have water and strategic placed bunkers, while there are also a few dogleg holes.

First time playing here. Great course with rapid greens. Great roll on them despite having been sanded. Good facilities in that they've got a range on site. Course itself was interesting, initially being quite tight then opening out a bit as you get further into it. Nice lunch in the clubhouse afterwards. Will definitely play again.

Really nice course, clubhouse and range. They do some great visitor offers, especially their twilight rate. I highly recommend and am looking forward to playing there again soon.

The experience at WPGC was excellent from start to finish. The staff in the clubhouse were very helpful, the golfers on the course were friendly and the course was a joy to play. Recommended,

our group had not played since before xmas due to weather so we were eager to get out at last . the course , although wet in some areas , by the paths and bunkers , was in great shape especially after the recent weather . very enjoyable day at wexham and shall definitely be playing there again soon . staff very helpful and clubhouse very adequate .

Very pleasant course. I played the Blue, which is 18 holes, but there are two other 9 hole courses (the red and green).
The Blue course is only around 5200 yards, and I would suggest that lower handicap players will generally have it for breakfast, but for middle to higher HC players the holes are frequently interesting enough to keep their attention. Despite the horrendous weather we've had recently, the course was in a very decent condition, with the greens running very true.
In its favour the club has a driving range and some practise greens, but the clubhouse has a "motorway cafe" feel about it, and the food seems a little expensive for what it is.

Played the course during a lull in the weather and it was generally in good nick considering it has considerable footfall. Annoyingly, we were off mats, but some were like range mats and impossible to get a tee in and others were raised and had tee slots! I like this course, although its short, you won't get away with just banging the driver. You have to manage your way round. A good course to play on Monday summer evenings after work as its usually empty and you can get a full 18 in before dark.

What astounding Value for money!! An excellent golf complex; course in fine condition, a lot of interesting holes, clubhouse facilities excellent and for only £6.50 per round (seniors rate). Very friendly & helpful staff too. I'll definitely be coming back here.

A very good pay and play club. Green 9 has wide fairways, the Red 9 is a good and challenging. The blue 18 is excellent. All in all, a well maintained Parkland Golf club. Grens and fairways are always in excellent condition

I think this is the second season of the reconfigured Blue Course which is still maturing. Unfortunately there are too many bare stretches where grass hasn't grown over to cover sunken drain pipes, leaving fairways looking scarred. I can't help but think the course is designed for users of buggies given the wide pathways and distances from green to tees on many holes. What was not helpful and there was no mention from the staff in the Pro Shop, was that wi-fi based range finders (like my Garmin) would not recognise the blue 18 hole course. Having to use the old fashioned 'guess the distance' method to any point of a particular hole annoying particularly where there were blind hazards! I'm sure the points made can be rectified and when completed I would be delighted to play the course again.
