What The Club Says
As well as being a challenging and demanding course you will find it hard not to be stirred by the exquisite views and landscapes of the Club's championship course known as Stoke Poges. The club's true 27 hole course is made up of the three nine hole courses Colt, Alison and Jackson.

I used to play Stoke Park back before the House got bought. It was a lovely golf course and maybe a little pricey at £250 a round, but you knew what you were getting..I played the course again on bank holiday Monday, April 20 26. There’s nothing wrong with the course. It’s in good condition maybe a little bit below where it used to be. The issue is the attitude of people. A buggy of three people, two of which would never play golf and one of whom was five years old interrupted my round on the 10th. The Marshalls are driving past so I asked them if this was okay. They told me just to go off the 15th which I declined and I managed to make my way past the group. Having played three more holes the same group were in my way again as they had hopped across onto 14 and in my way again. When I raised this once more, no one seemed bothered again. For £150 it’s not ok. I got offered a future round at 75 pounds when in honesty I want to be acknowledged on the round I played. They just don’t really care. Go to the Grove if you want some customer service.

Licenced to thrill!
Sorry for the Bond pun, but this location makes you think of the famous film moments that have happened there.It's a stunning location & doesn't disappoint.
I was lucky enough to play the Colt & Alison 9's. As it's hardly played, it's in immaculate condition. The greens are superb, true running, but not as fast as I expected. But watch for the subtle breaks, a putt that looks good can suddenly end up 6 to 12 feet away.
It's a lovely layout & the sevice & attention to detail are phenomenal.
Definitely a must play if you get the chance.

Beautiful course in a beautiful setting
I've been lucky enough to play this course a few times and it never fails to impress. Course in fantastic condition, pleasant on the eye, rewards those looking for a challenge and offers something for every level of golf ability.As you would expect the tees, fairways, bunkers and greens were in great condition and some of the pin positions when we played were tough with very few level putts. The layout is great and as mentioned provides a challenge for all and the design provides for an enjoyable round offering variety throughout with many standout feature holes including a few of the par 3s with history connected to Augusta.
I believe the course is shortly due to close for reimbursement and I can't wait for it to reopen and play again and hope this isn't too long before it does.

Home to the famous Goldfinger scene on the 18th of the Alison - superb setup with beaitful surroundings and the course is unreal(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 86 Handicap: 13.1)

Absolutely stunning
A great course catering for different standard levels of golf. Well worth a visit! Free range balls and really relaxed feel to the place. Staff extremely friendly(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 13.2)
