A Good walk
Great views and some great driving holes, but very hilly as you would expect for a downland course. Friendly staff in clubhouse.Reviewer Rating

Good condition for time of the year
Frosty morning - temperature still below freezing on our 9.30 start. Fairways frozen for first 3 or 4 holes so drives rolled like July but greens frosted and inevitably bumpy. The ground softened as the round progressed and was in reasonable nick for February. Temporary tees on all holes but no temporary greens. Overall the course is in as good condition as any we have played in the last two months and we are re-booked for next week.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 108 Handicap: 25.3)

Good South Downs Course
Very friendly club house. Winter mats are small on all tees. Course drains well being on the downs. Greens need some work. Challenging course in the sea breeze. Long rough can be a challenge. 16th and 17th holes run along the side of a road with no netting or barrier can be a little of putting!Reviewer Rating

Good for this time of year
Considering we played on the last day of November, the course was in good condition - no mud or lying water. Bunkers dry and greens whilst not the best, still in good condition compared to some other courses played recently. No grass tees in use, only mats. Clubhouse a bit dowdy but quite acceptable. Good value for money.Reviewer Rating

Course in very good condition for November
Damp and windy day but fairways and greens in excellent condition - some temporary tees.Greens copper sulphated but running very true - 7 single putts in the round.
Hollingbury is our default winter course because it drains so well and usually very playable when other courses are muddy, or closed.

Good course to use every club in the bag
First played here in 2015, course still provides the same challenges and rewards, the wind can play a massive part in your round here as it is up on the downs (woolen hat recommended at this time of year).(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 85 Handicap: 13.5)
