I have been playing at Hollingbury for over 25 years and I have never seen it looking so good or playing better. This is a testament to the dedicated, hardworking groundstaff. All their efforts over the last 2 years are now really showing through( despite covid restrictions and lockdowns ) So if you are looking for a playable, affordable, throughout the year, course with stunning views, look no further! You will be met with friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff to make your day go with a swing.

Greens in cracking condition
We are a nomadic foursome and play many courses throughout East and West several times a year - Hollingbury is in as good a condition as we have found it for some time and certainly as good if not better than other courses in Sussex that charge double the £17 price - recommended(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 98 Handicap: 24.8)

Very wet weather course drainage was excellent and only 1 temp green would recommend and will definitely be going back for another round

Played here a couple of times. When it's wet and windy it must be one of the toughest courses in the area. Luckily this was a lovely sunny day so some great golf and lovely views to match.
The course was in good condition despite a greenkeepers's strike. Greens are fast. 2 reachable par 5's and a longish par 5. Some long par 4's with a couple if short to mix it up.
Thoroughly recommend!

very testing on a windy day, but some lovley long holes to get your driver going,course was in very good condition considering the dry summer,and now x council run.

Challenging course with great views
Friendly , helpful staff and a great challenging course where slope and wind can be tricky.Greens and fairways could be a bit neater but adds to the challenge rather than spoiling it. Fantastic views during the round and from the sunny seating area for a refreshing drink afterwards!
