What the club says: What a spectacular golf course! The condition really is unrivalled locally and the view are nothing short of stunning. The winds can make the course testing of the very best amongst us but overall the course is a classic mix, designed it seems with golfers of all abilities in mind.
As a chalk downland golf course we are playable all year round.

Brilliant Course
A very good course at a good price.

Much better after a bit of rain
Course is looking lush and ball is not running away from you. Greens a little on the slow side but very true. Fairways have a few drier bits but you will be unlucky to find them. On the whole in very good nick. Club house and chaging rooms going through a bit of a refurb at the moment.(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 85 Handicap: 15)

My new favourite
East Brighton is an immaculate challenging course with unbelievable views across the entirety of Brighton and more. The greens are in excellent condition and made to challenge even the lower handicappers. The rough makes it difficult to play out of but I didn?t lose a single ball. The staff were excellent and very accommodating to the society I was playing with...

Great course
We really enjoyed it even though the wind made scoring difficult. The course was in great condition, the greens smooth and everyone was very welcoming(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 98 Handicap: 19.5)

Windy
This course is overlooking the marina and sea. The weather on this day was a little windy. Some good golf played and the greens were in good condition.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 0)

Always a pleasure to play - wind makes it tricky
Being on the South Downs means that the wind and Chalk surface keeps this course playable all through the winter. Given its faily open and meandered up and down a couple of valleys drainage is good and wind has a huge part in how well you score. Particularly windy thay day....very tricky. Greens in good nick and fairways as well.

Great course....windy!
This was our first time playing East Brighton golf course. Very compact course but was in amazing condition. Greens were so fast & dry. It was very windy which made it a real challenge. Will play again....& prey it?s not as windy!!!

Excellent course
Really enjoyed our round. Excellent conditions for early Jan. Beautiful views, testing layout in parts. Will be back. Pace of play a little slow, but I think we are fairly quick.

Proper Links course
Course playing fast with greens slightly slower than would be expected. Bunkers look OK and powdery but 1/2 inch down quite compact. Improvement since last time, the 9th green has now been "healed"(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 90 Handicap: 15.7)

Fun in the sun
the course was in rally good condition, greens were excellent only negative point was the sand in the bunkers was rock hard or not enough of it otherwise really enjoy it.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 96 Handicap: 18.4)

First timer here
First time here despite living local all my life... how have I not played here before!. Gem of a course with great views. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all absolutely spot on. Score: 90\

Weekend at Brighton golfing
Went to Brighton for the weekend. Played Friday afternoon 2 ball and Sunday afternoon with 6 other family members. Fantastic views of Brighton. Looking out from some of the holes you could be anywhere in the world - fantastic. Not an easy course but well worth a visit. Very chilled atmosphere in the bar and as always very friendly.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 103 Handicap: 24.1)

Club Championships - Dry but greens well watered and a tad slow
Great contrast considering no rain for 4 weeks. Fairways dry and running but greens well watered and receptive. Bunkers indifferent. Many patches of GUR but did not really affect the golf. Shame I could not keep the ball straight or on the course for most of the holes. MT showed how easy it was if ball kept straight. 2+ 1st 9.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 16.3)

(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 17)

Fantastic
Best course in Brighton fantastic views over Brighton and srunding area

Beautiful course with stunning views
Great care is being taken to repair previous damage to the course and the results are wonderful! Greens in top condition, fairways stunning, rough challenging but fair (make sure you keep your eye on the ball!). Good reasonable price and decent quality with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere :D

With a southerly the back 9 is tricky
Have played this course 3 x now and each time the wind is different. This time off the sea which make most ofthe back 9 into the wind. Greens very bumpy and sandy. Bit of a lottery and holes were slightly raised around the rim. Certainly seemed that way if putt left short or off to one side. Even stevens for most of 1st 9 with me pipping it but MT from 9th won 7 of the 8 holes top win 4&3. Was 4+ for last 10 holes including a 7 on the 17th(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 15.8)
