Windy
This course is overlooking the marina and sea. The weather on this day was a little windy. Some good golf played and the greens were in good condition.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 0)

With a southerly the back 9 is tricky
Have played this course 3 x now and each time the wind is different. This time off the sea which make most ofthe back 9 into the wind. Greens very bumpy and sandy. Bit of a lottery and holes were slightly raised around the rim. Certainly seemed that way if putt left short or off to one side. Even stevens for most of 1st 9 with me pipping it but MT from 9th won 7 of the 8 holes top win 4&3. Was 4+ for last 10 holes including a 7 on the 17th(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 15.8)

Well maintained - panoramic views
Visited on 19th April. Warm dry day but a gusty SE wind (unusual direction). Course is in surprisingly good condition follow the wet winter. Most tees understandable from mats but all greens in use. The 16th green is being remodeled and the hole is not in use.Reviewer Rating

Only course that is playable in Sussex
As always, this course drains so well and is always open. Cottesmore, Sweetwoods, HH, Lindfield, and even Pyecombe (yesaterday) closed. Shame 13th and 16th not open but can see why. Bedding in new bunkers, knowles etc. Some temp teees but on the whole tees looked good and greens were fantastic. No wind made it relatively easier but then again when wind does blow, inevitably game of 2 halves.Reviewer Rating

Nice to be back
1st game this year and course lives up to billing. Wind a big factor and greens are relatively fast. Bunkers look as if plenty of sand but it an illusion. Chipping with Wedge getting better and single putting a few times.Reviewer Rating

The wind plays its part
As always, East Brighton in great condition. The rain just disappears but the wind just confuses things. An on shore this time and feels like it comes across most holes. Always fun to play here as you necver know what to expect from the wind. Greens softish but run fast. Bunkers hard as they are the only part of the course that gives away that it has rained frequently recently.Reviewer Rating

As always, a great test on a great track
Apart from the 2nd being "dug up" there were a few other improvements being made. Mainly, new tees. However with the "breeze" from the North West giving the windchill of -1C it was a great test. No sign of the rain but the frost was evident. Greens were "soft" enough to make pitch marks but ran true. Bunkers were heavy but not unplayable. Overall well worth the wait for the first round of 2024.Reviewer Rating

Interesting course
Friendly welcome. Decent course in very good condition apart from the greens which were hollow tined. Always annoys me when clubs don’t put this on the website when booking a few days in advance. Plenty of interesting holes on Fairly wide open course which is protected by bunkers and the wind. Would play again if the greens were in their regular conditionReviewer Rating

After the rains - Soft but very playable
This is a proper links course. Dries really quickly and is very different in play depending on the wind. Quite an easy course if no wind!! Greens are always very consistent and well maintained. Lovely views over Brighton the South downs and the sea. Got around in 2h 45 mins as no one had teed off for an hour in front of me. Didn't catch that group up either. Must make it clear that course is best played with a wind as this makes it more "interesting"Reviewer Rating

Always an interesting course due to wind factor
The course, as always, well maintained and there is evidence of new tees being created to tidy up the course. Greens were cut short and quick and very true. Makes for interesting putting especially when the wind blows. I was fortunate to be playing with a cross wind. Always a pleasure to play here and always a challenge.Reviewer Rating
