What the club says: The 18-hole golf course is laid out over rolling chalk downland and is a challenging par 70. Being in one of the warmest and driest parts of the country, coupled with the chalk terrain, the course is always playable. The superb modern clubhouse caters for receptions, private functions and business seminars. The first class restaurant and bar both have panoramic views over the course. The Club has its own 18-bay driving range, the only one in Brighton, which is open to the public. Tuition from PGA qualified staff is available for individuals or groups every day.

What a challenge
Fantastic course, a real challenge as most holes are on hills and slops which makes you play shots you wouldn?t normally encounter on other courses.Need to be fit to get round this one without feeling it in the legs.

Narrow fairways
Lovely course with some narrow fairways and severe dog legs. Would be good to play again now I know where to place the ball. Some short par 4's and just need to put the ball into position. The greens were a little slow today but good condition.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 16.9)

(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 87 Handicap: 14.6)

Could be so much better, still good.
West Hove is a great location, easy to get to. Super friendly staff memebers and pros.Range has been slightly updated, new training hub looks good.
Hills make this course challenging hitting a good teeshot you can still find yourself in trouble or penalised.

Playable all year
Course in excellent condition despite the rain over recent weeks. Playable all year. Tough and favours accuracy rather than length(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 101 Handicap: 23.4)

Great course
Good course ,a bit hilly but drains well after rain

Mr
Brilliant course hidden behind an a road. Nice variety of challenge and beautiful scenery.

ALWAYS ENJOYABLE
Upon arrival West Hove is as impressive as you could find anywhere in the country. A very interesting course, something for everyone. I particularly enjoy the excellent greens, the ball always stands to attention for a well struck approach. Wonderful food and drink, the friendly bar staff provide the perfect end to a great day out!

Slopes and blind spots
Good course in good condition. Lots of slope, doglegs and blind shots to contend with. Greens in good shape.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 14.6)

(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 107 Handicap: 20.8)
