Grassmoor was ok but the greens was fairly bad the rough is very penal others than that it was a good day

Sunday round
I have rated this course as good, the major thing that lets this course down is the course itself. Not with the layout et cetera. The condition of the greens wasn't great, in fact they were poor. The bunkers are absolutely abysmal, there is hardly any sand in them and they are rockhard. On the day I visited there was lots of rubbish around the course, little bins were packed and overflowing, a little more attention to this course could make it so much better.Reviewer Rating

Greens were good Fairways very hard and dry. Due to covid the course facilities - ball cleaners etc - were absent. Bunckers are GRU but I only learned about it by chance - halfway. No notice On the course or at the start and or white lines about the bunckers.(Round played: May 2020 - Score: 86 Handicap: 17.6)

The course fairways were very wet after overnight rain. Green ok but they have been recently spiked and not evidence of sanding. I have nto played the course for 7 or 8 years and it has been lengthened and the addition of the landscaping has made it more of a challenge

Staff very polite the course was in good condition the bunkers r not that good but the greens are very good we walked of on the 9th hole because it took us 2 and a half hours what a joke because it’s only a short course n it should take no longer than 3 hours to do a full 18 holes slow play at south chesterfield is a big issue n needs to be sorted because like I said it’s a joke(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 78 Handicap: 8.7)

Nice enough, Greens Still a month or so off
Nice enough course, Greens still a month or so off from being where they would normally get to condition wise but still roll fairly true.Tee times were just a little bit too bunched together and could have done with spacing a little bit more just to alleviate a bit of congestion here an there.
Overall nice course, would play again.

The course was in good condition greens were lovely fairways all good we couldnt fault it great value for the money ..clubhouse food was disgusting the worst ive seen for a long time no care..cold chips cold beans the worst 2 eggs ive ever seen cooked black on top dirty...golf very good food disgusting oh and what made me write this was..1 pound and wighty pence for 2 sluces of bread YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELFS.. PRO SHOP NICE AND FRIENDLY..CLUB HOUSE A JOKE
