Great course

It really was a great course but the weather could have been better lots of heavy rain and then beautiful sunshine.

1st time played, course a mystery.

Start of my 1st golf membership in 15 years!! Fair to say a bit rusty. Nice layout, with a good mixture of holes. Course is a fair challenge, lots of varied priorities on different holes. it was all my own fault.

Good course although penal!

The course was good although if you were off line it was really penal and probably a lost ball. Thought it was overpriced at ?30 there's better courses for that price in the area.

Felt just like a hotel course.

Played holes 1-18 (of the 27 there). Overall everything was ?ok?. Nothing memorable about the course, felt like a lot of the par 4s were very similar. Was in decent condition, can't really criticise, wouldn't rave about the place either.

A very windy day

I played Oulton hall for the first time this year and I was really impressed the course was in fantastic condition and I really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend this course.

Awful condition, surprised it was open !

We chose to try this course having seen free times on GolfNow, we were met with a less than enthusiastic reaction in the pro shop. Eventually we got on with 1-9 shut we played holes 10-27. The course was so boggy we literally needed wellies on. Every shot we hit we had to first find in the fairway and then dig out. The course layout was fine, but hard to use any apps as the SI's are all over the place. Such a pity as I hear its a very expensive course in the summer. Afterwards, which was 1pm, we asked for drinks and food but the Hole 19 bar was completely shut. So we left, disappointed. I wouldn't return, as having seen the layout, its not as good as some of the courses around the area and charges much more.
