What the club says: Play a round on this truly impressive Dave Thomas designed, 27 hole golf complex. Oulton Hall boasts the North of England's leading golf performance centres and is a must for golf aficionados. This is golf at its best.
The par 71 Calverley Course overlooks a beautiful hill and dale landscape. A pleasure to play, with groomed fairways and subtle, undulating greens.
On the north east side of the estate, The Hall Course is a picturesque, par 36, 9-hole course. The Hall 9 are sometimes played with 9 from The Park, to make a different 18 hole challenge.
What Golfshake says: With 27 holes to choose from you're not going to be disappointed when getting the clubs out here. With the new Nike academy on the range as well you're going to be fully prepared from which ever 18 holes you're going to take on.

Disappointing Condition
Group of 20 played 2 rounds Sunday / Monday .Firstly to start with a positive, the hotel was excellent- well done .
Unfortunately that’s where the positivity ends .
The greens were very poor, literally had weeds growing on them .
Unfortunately, the tee beds were worse . On some of the tee beds weeds would have been a luxury - there were 3 tee beds that were just completely compacted mud (3rd , 5th 17th) - no grass , not even a weed - just mud .
Obviously there are issues with the course that need resolving as I’ve played previously and was decent .
Won’t play again unless issues resolved .

Poor greens
How can you justify hollow tining the greens when you know you have hundred of players booked in who have payed a lot of money to play and stay, it ruined what was supposed to be a good two days golf, the weather was brilliant, the course it’s self was challenging but the greens ruined everything, won’t be going back there.Reviewer Rating

Oulton Hall
Oulton Hall has made a number of improvements to help golfers have a better experience. You can choose any number of combinations from the 27 holes that are available to vary the difficulty. Iv played the traditional 1-18 and 19-27, 1-9 Courses. I enjoyed both. But I feel playing holes 10-18 as a front 9 then 19-27 as a back 9 would give you the best holes to play.
Also available here is the golf range with Trackman fitted bays. It's newly installed and a great addition.
