Spain offers golfers a variety of options for golf all year round.
The Climate
Depending on the exact location, typically, the summers are hot, clear and muggy in Spain while the winters are long, cool, cloudy and windy. It is dry all year round with limited rainfall and the temperature varies from 7°C to 31°C. It seldom drops below 3°C or above 34°C.
The hottest season usually lasts three months, from June 20 to September 21. The average daily high during this period is 28°C. The cooler season has a duration of 4 months, and it’s typically from November 21 to March 22 with an average high of 17°C and low of 7°C.
The Canary Islands provide a warm climate all year round, so there isn’t necessarily an ideal time to visit Gran Canaria or Tenerife. Regardless of when you travel during the summer or the winter, you are almost guaranteed excellent weather and a perfect environment to truly relax in. The wettest months of the year are January and February but the summer season is prone to the occasional shower.

Flight Information
Travelling to Spain is straightforward with numerous UK airports accommodating flights to the region. Alicante International Airport has flights from the majority of UK airports with an average flight time of two hours and 20 minutes. The flight time to Marbella, Malaga and the Costa del Sol from the UK is 2 hours and 40 minutes, while the flight time to Costa de la Luz is around two-and-a-half hours.
Travelling further afield to the Canary Islands then the flight time to Tenerife is four hours and 30 minutes, and the flight time to Gran Canaria Las Palmas is 4 hours and 10 minutes.
