What the club says: Santana Golf & Country Club is an 18 Hole golf course par 72 of approx. 6203 metres (just under 7000 yards) in length, set in 138 acres of picturesque parkland. The course, sympathetically laid out by the architect Cabell B. Robinson, is set in a former avocado plantation which provided a natural solution to many problems. The final result is a magnificent course with wide and well defined fairways on level terrain, hence easily walkable, where water features play an important albeit not excessive part in the overall design.

Great course worth playing
First time playing Santana GC. Impressed from start to finish. Nice clubhouse, friendly welcome. No driving range, but some practice nets and large practice putting area. Quite open course compared to others played before. Greens rolled well, some quite tricky to read. A Couple of long par 5s where you need a bit of course management. Recommend a meal here after as food was superb, hospitality second to none. Will try and return for sure.Reviewer Rating

Great course for average golfer
Really enjoyed playing Santana. Whilst not short or easy it is a fair and forgiving course and suits the average golfer. Good play can be rewarded but loose shots do not have disastrous results.Reviewer Rating

Interesting and playable layout
This was my third time playing Santana, the first time in the morning, which proved to show the course in its best light. It is a very playable course in terms of generous fairways are room off the tee with the front nine being a classic out and back layout. The bunkers are unusual with almost shale-like granular sand but it plays well. The greens this time when we played in the morning were good. The last couple of times, because the greens are always well watered and soft, don't hold up well as the day goes on so get yourself an early bird tee time if you want to see it at its best. The variety of the holes is good and it is very enjoyable. Unlike many of the courses in the area that go up and down the hill and around the houses, Santana is laid out on fairly flat land. It's well worth playing. The staff in the clubhouse are very welcoming, the food is good and well priced.(Round played: Nov 2019 - Score: 81 Handicap: 3.8)

Good course but Marshals are rude
Course was full and we had to wait at most of the holes. Marshall came to harass us several times though he could see that we were waiting. I was bullied to remove my review at their FB page.Reviewer Rating

One of the best I've played on the Costa del Sol
Great course, very forgiving for the mid to high handicapper. Quite open so few chances to lose balls. Beautiful finishing hole. No driving range though to practice beforehand(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 12.7)

Worth a visit
Good forgiving course in good condition. Adverse comments would be that some pin positions are extremely unfair plus machines used to smooth bunkers leave ridges in bunker therefore not a good lie.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 87 Handicap: 12)

Beautiful setting
Not played this course before and decided to try out some new courses in the area. This one is worth a visit, even though you will struggle to get a tee time, its worth moving your schedule around to visit the course. The staff here are so helpful and friendly. The course is beautiful and in fantastic condition and the facilities more than adequate.
You should try and play if in the area. Personally I prefer this course to the others in the immediate vascinity and i will be returning to play it again.

One of my very favourite courses on the Costa Del Sol and easily walkable if it's not too hot a day. Great course and good food and service awaits at the end of your round.Just a pity you can always book online.
