What the club says: Finca Cortesin boasts an immaculately manicured 18 hole championship course using high quality Bermuda grass for the fairways. Cabell Robinson designed this masterpiece and has purposefully created it to make every hole different. This is just one of the reasons that makes this course such an enjoyable round. Each hole has several tee boxes that will cater for all levels of golfers. The greens are well protected by white marble sand filled bunkers that are strategically placed around the course. Without doubt the greens are what makes for such an enjoyable round. They all have gentle breaks and the consistency and quality to be very fast.

A true gem

Probably the best course and Club I have been to. A great driving range right at the club house. Some great little touches, fruit picnics handed out on the way round, cold tomato soup and an employee to control traffics when the buggies need to go over a public roadm

5 tee boxes for optimum choice and generous fairways in great condition. 5 star all the way for service and the total golf experience.

This is now my favourite course in the world. The reception when you arrive, the condition of the locker room, buggies, driving range and club house are exceptional. I can see why this hosted the European Tour matchplay event as there were loads of risk and reward holes. The fourth is an example, it was playing as 220 carry over water and I had to go for it. This course deserves to be played again and I am going to book a similar trip to play this and Alcaidesa as well as one in Soto Grande. Fantastic course and at ?120, good value

Worst weather ive ever played through in Spain, but absolutely loved it. Great course, every hole is different. Will be going back very soon.

This course ticks every box you have ever dreamed of, that's why the World matchplay is going there next month. DON'T miss it; it is truly the best golfing experience you can imagine. The staff are attentive and extremely helpful. Pull up in the car park and you clubs are taken away, put on a buggy, ready for your post breakfast/lunch round. Step on to the first tee for a gentle opener to what will be an introduction to the best course in Spain, if not Europe. I do not exagerate!

This course will host the World match play in October. Having played here in June 09 i can see why. The setting is magnificent, the course from the black tees is over 7500 yards and the greens difficult to read. Long par 3's add to the difficulty for amateurs. The staff are brilliant and very attentive from the moment you arrive. Practice facilities are included in the green fee and the views from the clubhouse are stunning. If you visit this part of Spain and fancy playing where the pro's do, this is a must play course. You certainly wont regret it
