What the club says: The natural features of the La Cala terrain have been used to challenging effect by the renowned golf course architect, Cabell B. Robinson. The three courses are carefully maintained to ensure they are playable all year round. The North Course (now renamed Campo America) is perhaps more difficult than the shorter South (Campo Asia) but both demand great accuracy from the tee and careful club selection.
Meanwhile, the third golf course, Campo Europa, uses the River Ojen in making the course distinctive. The layout allows for plenty of water hazards. All three offer different challenges to all levels of golfers and demand good course management in addition to a wide variety of shots.

Most Helpful Review
Stunning location, tight undulating fairways, greens were a bit bobbly and some long carries just to hit the fairways. Not suitable for short hitters with no bail out options I was ok but others in the group struggled on some holes. 240 yards for a par 3 with no bail out is stupid for a resort course. A few tweaks and it could be great for all standard of golfers. Nice not to be surrounded by holiday apartments for a change

Golf Course Reviews for La Cala Golf & Spa Resort
3 very different golf courses in sunny Spain, condition is OK but could be improved. Great resort to stay.
Lovely round of golf after an early start from the UK. Course in good condition. Great facilities.
(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 91 Handicap: 23.8)
Well worth playing all 3 courses, though Asia would be our favourite, then Europe.
Found this course very difficult being a newbie, probably not a high handicappers course as there are some very long drives to be made. The contours make it especially hard... but immensely enjoyable. Can’t wait to improve my game and return again.
