Golfshake Reveals Must Play Golf Courses For 2022

By: Golfshake Editor | Mon 10 Oct 2022

Offering a unique and valuable resource for golfers and venues, the Golfshake Course Section has long been hugely popular, something that was enhanced this season by the introduction of several new features to showcase the courses and destinations that most connected with the passionate golfers who are part of the Golfshake Community

We previously brought attention to the revamped Golfshake Top 100 Section and its qualities, but many golfers will also benefit from visiting our new Must Play Courses Section that offers something a little different.

The courses have been identified from data supplied within our golf course review system, which features over 280,000 reviews left by over 50,000 golfers, expert insights from our network of Golfshake Ambassadors and additional input from Golfshake partners.

Within the Must Play Section, there are over 450 courses, presenting a wide range of places that are worth discovering throughout the UK and Europe.

Must Play Courses

(Ashburnham Golf Club)

There is a strict criteria to qualify for inclusion, with courses having been selected from Golfshake data and they must have had more than 10 reviews in the last year, are Highly Recommended, boast a Golfshake Rating that is higher than 4 and the Overall Rating, Course Rating, Conditions Rating and Value For Money Rating all average over 4 out of 5.

Perhaps most intriguingly, these particular venues also typically don't appear in published national Top 100 Lists, potentially highlighting some unsung heroes out there that can be experienced this year and beyond.

You can find the full list of regions and courses within the Must Play Section, but highlights include Cavendish, Retford and Kedleston Park in the East MidlandsEdzell, Downfield and Kilspindie in ScotlandHenllys Hall and Ashburnham in Wales, and Blackmoor and Hayling in the South of England.

So, why not explore that and all of the Golfshake Course Section to find new, Highly Recommended golf courses to play!
