What the club says: Ashburnham Golf Club over looks Carmarthen Bay. Holes three to eight strike out, parallel to the sea, straight into the prevailing wind and holes nine to fifteen run back with the wind directly behind. Neither are the fairways of a generous width and the fact that the current course record is no lower than 66 bears witness to the credential of the challenge.

1st time at Ashburnham and was not disappointed. Arrived a bit early for a spot of lunch and received a warm welcome from the staff in the pro shop, and in the clubhouse. Food was reasonable and it gave us time to watch groups teeing off the 1st and approaches into the 18th. Plenty of practice facilities and excellent quality greens/ bunkers. A fantastic setting in general and great value links golf - looking forward to going back to post a better round.

A great course with excellent greens. Holes 1 and 18 were the poorest looking holes which is a pity as they are right in front of the clubhouse. We had very good weather and the wind was not too strong. Lovely food in the bar after and the staff were very friendly. Looking forward to my next visit.

Very good golf course in good condition for the time of year. The course is a tough test overall especially if the wind picks up. However, there are a good mixture of holes that can offer up some birdie opportunities. A proper links course. The only negative I have is the fact that neither the bar or restaurant were open after the round at 3 o'clock in the afternoon which was disappointing.
