Played this course as heard good things, what a let down! A lot of poor holes, fairways in a very poor state full of bare earth patches, bunkers the worst have come across no sand and full of earth.
Holes poorly sign posted to next tee, was ok for cheap deal at £15 but not worth any more than that. Very average links course compared to p and k, southerdown, porthcawl or even swansea bay.

Enjoyable 36 holes with the Society Tour. Some very testing holes. Hilly in places but the course was playable after heavy rain. Bar closes early on Monday afternoon. 32 golfers had to go elsewhere for refreshment. sales opportunity LOST.

Very good golf course in good condition for the time of year. The course is a tough test overall especially if the wind picks up. However, there are a good mixture of holes that can offer up some birdie opportunities. A proper links course. The only negative I have is the fact that neither the bar or restaurant were open after the round at 3 o'clock in the afternoon which was disappointing.

rating about right. Practise facilities ok. Great setting. Not really enough great holes on it to justify it's reputation, very undefined in places. 2 and 17 share a fairway and are like a driving range and no way the average player will hold the green on the last. However, friendly members and staff, food and drink very good, enjoyed our day just not a particularly strong golf course

Lovely Course
Enjoyed the course & views but too good for my ability. Despite being open waywardish drives fully punished & rarely recoverable. Very enjoyable though when hitting straight. And some great views. Shame the only hand pump real ale was off.Reviewer Rating

Played as a society (24 of us) on a Sunday. Really great value for money, though some fairways were weather worn a little, it is definite worth a revisit. Only complaints would be signage around not great, and maybe because of the breeze and not windy conditions, it was felt the stroke index ratings could do with a revisit. Par 3 as SI1 where par was not too difficult and a 420 par 4 (17th) into the wind SI5 ??? That apart, absolutely loved the round

A good challenging course and really enjoyed the scenery. The greens were well maintained and fast
