tough in the heavy conditions
Potentially a good layout just requiring a lot more work to get to a standard where i would say "yes love to go back" - i'm sure they'll get there given the appropriate weather and time spent maintaining the fairways and greens.10th is a mess - maybe temporarily turn it into a short par 3 to save losing balls on the fairway.

Winter
Normally two 18 hole courses Waterloo and Wellington. During winter Trafalgar comes into play being a mix and match of both courses. Protects the dampest part of the two courses. A little muddy but still excellent condition for winter. Both 18 holes reopening next week 14th Feb.Reviewer Rating

Very wet underfoot
Even though not alot of rain starting to show "signs" of winter. Still not bad condition though. They have a strange format for procing of a round?(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 97 Handicap: 23.1)

Good value for money, nice atmosphere
Played on the weekend just gone. Course was in quite good condition on the whole, given recent weather. A bit patchy on some of the fairways where less light gets in but greens in good condition and for this time of year, in decent nick.Round was relatively slow, 8 minute tee times almost guarantee this with most amateurs (including me) having to look for their ball a few times. Course quite open so that is not too problematic but be good if some were taught the basics of golf etiquette on letting others play through when people are looking for the ball and others stood on the tee.
Clubhouse staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the vibe after the round was quite good - with music coming out of the clubhouse.
Overall, good value for money. Probably not one I will play again as quite far away from me, but if I was in the area and looking for a round I would definitely consider. Would like to play the Waterloo course which apparently has a bit more character.

Wide and forgiving
Set in mature parkland these two very well maintained courses (Waterloo & Wellington) are perfect for the beginner/casual golfer - hence they get pretty busy. We played the Wellington course, which although longer than Waterloo is apparently more forgiving. Look forward to playing Waterloo next time.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 101 Handicap: 25.4)

Waterloo Course - Great course
Waterloo course is perfect for me as a 24ish handicap. It's slightly shorter yardage than it's sister course (Wellington) so ideal for me as I'm not a long hitter.
Already planning the next visit can't wait to introduce the course to other Golf Mates

Waterloo
Lovely setting, a little more difficult for the high handicapper with too many ditches in prominent places. Very welcoming and the course in excellent condition. Food / drink and service excellent.Reviewer Rating

Reading vs Swindon
We love this course, greens were great, bit of a pile up on the 2nd hole but it evens out later on and pace of play improves. Greens are great, service is top notch. Julie and her team look after all golfers. The(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 96 Handicap: 28)
