Nice course
Course was very well kept, putting greens were quick & in good condition. Cheap round & buggy hire for later tee times. Quite busy & felt a little slow but round took just over 4hrs so not all bad. There were no stand out/feature holes but nice course none the less.

Made a nice change
Play The Downshire every week but tried this course for a change. Buggy on a very hot day was a great idea as there are some long routes to some of the holes. Four of us and kept getting two balls and one ball going up behind us. Let 3 through so didn't want to let anymore through as wed never finish, club very friendly but wasn't clear where you checked in, arrow pointed to golf shop but we discovered there was no shop, had to check in at the bar. overall a great day of golf.

, but not Enjoyable round
The Wellington course was in good condition, the greens were well kept, although I found them difficult coming from a links course.I would recommend the course to visitors if they choose the earlier cheaper tee times.
You will enjoy the setting, the ponds with geese are very attractive.
However I cannot remember any of the holes especially and would find it difficult to pick s signature hole.
Overall, a lovely setting and an enjoyable game but not special in any way.

great course
Most enjoyable course even on a wet day. Course in good condition although greens were a little unpredictable. Pre golf clubhouse food and drink was excellent. Helpful staff.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 90 Handicap: 13.2)

First Game since lockdown finished
Wellington course in good condition. I had heard that it could get boggy but no issues. Fairways good as were greens. Also was considering joining and did so after the round! Can't comment on clubhouse yet as still being renovated, but looks like it will be very niceReviewer Rating

Good Challenging Course
When I play on that day it was heavy rain and the ground become very soft on certain hole which affect the flight of the ball if you don't get it right plus very strong wind make it so difficult but if the weather is good I believed you can enjoy more. Quite challenging course and will benefit for those who can hit long either with their iron or driverReviewer Rating

Good Winter Conditions - But Slow Play
Haven't played this 18 for over a year now and the last time I did, I was disappointed. This was a much better round as all the previous problems with the greens had been sorted and the course was in good conditions for a fair wet period of the year. However, the course was very busy and overbooked late in the day. The etiquette of some members I met was poor and on my back 9, ever though I arrived at a tee box just as a four ball were leaving, it was disappointing not to be allowed to play through. There were also 2x 2 balls that cut across from the second 18 (Wellington) and played the last hole of the Waterloo to avoid a queue at the 18th there. Neither of these are reflections on the course, but wasn't that great as a visitor.(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 87 Handicap: )
