What the club says: Waterloo Course - This picturesque and mature course takes you through woodland and parkland and features several trademark holes. A birdie opportunity awaits you on the very first hole of the Waterloo course, a lengthy par five which requires an accurate tee shot as a dry ditch traverses the fairway. Water is a challenge on the course too, especially at the par three 5th where a lake guards the tilted green. The front 9 is deemed to be the easier of the two. Try to make your score and then hang on through the back 9 holes.
Wellington Course - The Wellington course is slightly longer than it's counterpart and consequently offers a different challenge. As the Waterloo, the Wellington course unravels it's way through ancient Hampshire woodland and landscaped parkland. Well tended fairways and manicured greens make both courses a fantastic golfing experience.

First Game since lockdown finishedWellington course in good condition. I had heard that it could get boggy but no issues. Fairways good as were greens. Also was considering joining and did so after the round! Can?t comment on clubhouse yet as still being renovated, but looks like it will be very nice

Good Challenging CourseWhen I play on that day it was heavy rain and the ground become very soft on certain hole which affect the flight of the ball if you don?t get it right plus very strong wind make it so difficult but if the weather is good I believed you can enjoy more. Quite challenging course and will benefit for those who can hit long either with their iron or driver
Good Winter Conditions - But Slow PlayHaven't played this 18 for over a year now and the last time I did, I was disappointed. This was a much better round as all the previous problems with the greens had been sorted and the course was in good conditions for a fair wet period of the year. However, the course was very busy and overbooked late in the day. The etiquette of some members I met was poor and on my back 9, ever though I arrived at a tee box just as a four ball were leaving, it was disappointing not to be allowed to play through. There were also 2x 2 balls that cut across from the second 18 (Wellington) and played the last hole of the Waterloo to avoid a queue at the 18th there. Neither of these are reflections on the course, but wasn't that great as a visitor.

DisappointedStart with the positive; the Wellington Course was in good condition, particularly the greens which were slick and fast. The negative was that after 4 hours we had only played 11 holes. At that point we gave up as we didn?t have the time or patience for a 7 hour (equivalent) round. Very disappointing!
Great Autumn Roundplayed WELLINGTON in Sep 2020 during covid and the place was packed! This made for a very slow round, but the course and greens were in good condition and I enjoyed the round

KenBooked a round for 3 with buggies. When I booked in I was told they had hired the buggies out to others - no apologies, no ‘ I’m sorry’ No effort to sort out the problem , Not impressed .
