Country estate type golf course, tee boxes and greens quite tight so be careful if there are wayward golfers around. No hole layouts on the tee boxes so playing blind on some holes. Great location, peaceful and mature course

Disappointed
Start with the positive; the Wellington Course was in good condition, particularly the greens which were slick and fast. The negative was that after 4 hours we had only played 11 holes. At that point we gave up as we didn't have the time or patience for a 7 hour (equivalent) round. Very disappointing!Reviewer Rating

Booked a round for 3 with buggies. When I booked in I was told they had hired the buggies out to others - no apologies, no ‘ I’m sorry’ No effort to sort out the problem , Not impressed .Reviewer Rating

Very poor water every where especially on fairways. Greens did play well but when the rough and fairway is so wet its not worth playing.
No mentioned from the Pro Shop of the poor quality of the course.

Grass too long!
I have played Sherfield (Waterloo) many time and always enjoyed but the green keeper has elected not to cut the rough so unless you hit straight and often long your ball is gone. A shame as most average golfers will be intimidated by the challengeReviewer Rating
