What The Club Says

Set in 200 acres of parkland and listed by English Heritage as a protected park and garden. The Rotherwick Course at Tylney Park is an example of the very best inland golf available in Britain. In 2003, a leading firm of golf architects were asked to re-design the 1974 golf course in such a way that would do justice to a site which has long been felt could unlock more potential as one of the finest parkland settings in the south of England.

Challenging course and friendly club

Course contains no repetitive types of holes with interesting wrinkles to keep you thinking. Greens excellent and rest of course in good nick despite persistent dry conditions. Interactions with members and staff all good.

The course is improving and the greens are much better following the winter work. The fairways have largely recovered from the winter mud and now pleasant to play.

Back to its summer best!

Drying out well, ball running on the fairways and fast greens a delight to play! Varied course with challenging greens in quiet Hampshire countryside.

Course in good condition - greens were excellent given the time of year - drainage has made a big difference - always a challenging track

Winter playability has been improved by last year?s extensive drainage work. However, there is still work to be done to improve the front five and start of seventh fairway.
Well worth a visit in the summer months but clay can be very sticky in the winter. Varied course with challenging greens, compact clubhouse and helpful staff. Meal service improved by playing member chef.

I was a member 5 years ago, it was a great course in the summer then and with the drainage work that has been carried out since I left it’s still a great course now.

The course has returned to being green after our long hot summer. Greens are in excellent condition. However, course still has preferred lies owing to patches of slower recovery. Varied and interesting challenge for golfers of all abilities in quiet Hampshire Countryside. Recently refurbished (compact) clubhouse with friendly staff a good chef.
