Played there 25/9/18. Went round with 3 members. A very challenging course off the whites you have to plot your way round. Greens in good nick. All in all a pleasant round.

Varied parkland course with water hazards.

Not that long but good course management needed to miss the ponds and drainage ditches. Recent extensive maintenance to ponds and hedges has opened up the course and means less time spent looking for errant shots. Good luck with 8, 9, 16 (3-ditches) 17 and 18!!

Interesting and quite tight

A good course not too long and not too short. Not easy to score well without intelligent play. Only one pro broke par in recent pro-am at one under par so no push over.

Very nice and friendly club with the course getting progressively harder after the first 3 holes. The back nine really are quite tough particularly 11,12,13,16 and 18.

Lovely course, in great condition. Greens weren't the fastest, but entirely playable. Lots of big trees and set nicely in the landscape. Course knowledge helps on a few holes as driver is not the obvious choice.
Would happily play again.

Course has recently undergone improvements which I believe are now back in play. Good clubhouse but drink prices a little on the high side. Holes 8, 9, 16, 17 and 18 are quite a challenge.

The course eases you in on the first 3 holes but after that tree lined fairways mean you need to be accurate.

Greens have recently been redone and we're a little bit inconsistent.

Was an ok course. Thought it was maybe a tad expensive for what it was. In fairness it was very wet when we played after some very heavy rain in previous days.

My initial reaction to having played here is that you need to get your score going early, because the back 9 is where most of the tricky holes are.

There seems to be a good mix of holes here, with a number of short and long par 4's, and holes where you can open your shoulders as well as some where you have to be fairly accurate from the tee. There are a number that are very pleasant on the eye.

This has been a fairly dry summer so the fairways are a little on the burnt side, but the tees and especially the greens were in excellent condition.

The clubhouse is very nice, and they have a spike bar too. You may have to ask about the spike bar though because it seems to be very well hidden. I wouldn't even have known it existed if I hadn't been there with someone who'd been there before.

I paid £25 for the round, which I think was fairly reasonable, although the normal price is a little higher.

The course isn't exactly flat, but it's certainly not undulating enough to cause concern for most reasonably fit golfers.
