Poor Municipal
Went with a society last week and quite frankly the course was unplayable. So much work on the back 9 . par 3s surrounded by netting . We have made a complaint but had no reply from the management. Seems like they just want to take your money and not provide an acceptable playable courseReviewer Rating

Poor
Didn't realise all back nine holes were quite unplayable. Course was having work done around all bunkers. Netting around the bunkers made shots into the greens silly.this is usually a fantastic courseReviewer Rating

The entire back 9 is either on ridiculous short temporary holes or shrouded in plastic fencing, like a building site.
A wasted afternoon

Decent track
It’s a decent course, pace of play is good, greens could be better but worth a visit, a lot of work going on on the course at the moment thoughReviewer Rating

Worth a visit if you're in Staffordshire. .
Course has improved now the rain has ceased and we are back playing after the 12 week lockdown. All they need to do now is improve the bunkers. This wasn't done during lock down, as it wasn't "esential maintenance". I do believe they will get proper sand, but still waiting.(Round played: May 2020 - Score: 112 Handicap: 24.7)

Very good and open
Course was wet/boggy in places but not surprising given the amount of rain we've had locally. Greens were in good condition and it was nice to see that no temporary tees/mats were in use. All cups had inserts so there was no need to handle flags in the current climate.Reviewer Rating
