What the club says: Benefiting from parkland contoured greens and tree-lined holes, the mature Hawkesyard Golf Club 18 hole championship course offers a challenge to any seasoned golfer and a great learning environment for beginners and improvers.

Significant investment in the course which now lays on a perfect all weather sandstone drainage bed, offers golf for all seasons. A covered 15 bay practice range boasts extensive short game facilities with an Advanced Head PGA Professional onsite for one to one and group lessons, comprehensive academy programme and advice. Corporate business packages and society discounts are available for groups and our recently introduced Network 19 combines corporate business with golf and a breakfast lunch.

The modern clubhouse Bar 19 and halfway house serves hot and cold fresh meals and snacks for golfers, business lunches or to simply relax and unwind in front of Sky Sports! The retail corner stocks your golfing
essentials and the airy Parkland Suite provides a perfect venue for family and social parties and business use.

A shame the course has now closed - extremely hilly and difficult for someone who's never played the course before

The course is a 'pay & play' and as such appears to be quite popular.
Greens and fairways are reasonably well kept, but the tees could be improved. Bunkers are awful.
With a bit of effort this course could be restored to its' former glory.
Quite hilly.

This course is getting better all the time, the greens are running true however the bunkers still need some work doing to them to bring them up to an acceptable standard

Challenging course, as tough as any c'ships ive played & deffo need to hire a buggy but at a tenner to play & a tenner a buggy its a bargain. Folk are friendly & Julie who runs club house is top lady who does a mean bacon sanga should you feel peckish before or after front 9. Be warned, 18th hole is a round wrecker if you cant drive straight off the tee! Splosh! Only thing club lacks is a bar but they working on it from what i hear.
