Worth a visit if you're in Staffordshire. .
Course has improved now the rain has ceased and we are back playing after the 12 week lockdown. All they need to do now is improve the bunkers. This wasn't done during lock down, as it wasn't "esential maintenance". I do believe they will get proper sand, but still waiting.(Round played: May 2020 - Score: 112 Handicap: 24.7)

Very good and open
Course was wet/boggy in places but not surprising given the amount of rain we've had locally. Greens were in good condition and it was nice to see that no temporary tees/mats were in use. All cups had inserts so there was no need to handle flags in the current climate.Reviewer Rating

Great course in great conditiononly observation is that the bunkers on the course could do with a higher quality of sand with more in them

Very friendly and beautiful layout
Was made very welcome at the club and the Marshall gave us such a thorough explanation of the course that I thought we were going to miss our tee time. Course was in good condition although the greens seemed a bit slow but at least true.Reviewer Rating

Very decent course
Paid £20 to play at 1240 on Saturday. Not the best course in the world but fantastic value for money. Plenty of ditches which mean shots need to be considered. Course in very good condition although greens a bit dry and too slow. Lovely setting around the old mill. Played The Derby course at The Belfry the following day and this was comfortably better (although better greens at The Derby).(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 18)

Lovely Game
Myself and my friend recently played early pm last weekend. The course was in great condition and the weather perfect for a game of golf. We were only a 2-Ball, so got round fairly quickly, just the last three holes got held up a little. Friendly staff both at reception and marshals on course. The rate we paid made it fantastic value for money and whilst there enquired about joining the club as the rest of the facilities also looked top notch!!Reviewer Rating

99% Brilliant
I have played this course many times but not for a couple of years and in full bloom in Summer it is gorgeous. It looks better than ever. There is a wide variety of holes short and long, trees dog-legs, bunkers and some water to make you think.Go off track and likely to behind a tree but shorter grass makes it easier to find your balls. The grass in the rough is longer in a few places.keep away from there. It was quite busy but rate of play was mostly good, the club house very busy with the gym goers too. A lovely setting. Only let down by the bunkers, quite hard underneath, lots of stones in some. It appears the bunkers are not popular so very few bother to rake them (I did). Not sure if they get raked in the morning. They cant be short of money get them sorted and this would be a 10 out 10 rather than a 9.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 19.5)
