The course has been made shorter during the winter to allow for the teeing mats. They appear to be doing work on the normal tees and have a lot of GUR around the greens. The course is very varied and its not a case of up and down which is good. The course was quiet as the weather was bitter but the course was in good condition and the greens were running true

First time playing here. Nice course in good condition. Greens were in good nick and had a decent roll to them. Decent amount of variety with a number of doglegs and a few ditches here and there making you think. Couple of holes are quite tricky off the tee due to trees in eyeline etc. Great value at £22 on a Saturday and look forward to playing again now I've seen it. Clubhouse also good.

Nice course to play. The pro shop is small not much in it. Bar and food good value

The course has really gone downhill. The greens were all bobbly with the grass too long. Not a lot of grass on fairways so always a very tight lie. I think they've spent so much on the new club house that they are neglecting the course. We used to play here very regularly but will leave it to next summer before we try again.

Poor signage on the course let the club down as did a gruff, almost rude 'welcome' from the chap taking our money. Not having even a rudimentary course plan, when there are a number of blind holes, is unforgivable.

Nice course but 5 hour round due to slow members in front who insisted on a half hour break at the turn and not letting us thorugh. Bland end of 8 Par 4's also

Enjoyed playing here today - for once no Q at the 10th. 15,16,17 best holes on the course. Some tight fairways though also some more open sections which won't punish wayward tee shots too much. Good value for money.

Good course, very snobbish and people playing there do not smile or seem to enjoy being there. SO WHY PLAY THE GAME.
Overall I loved the course, we got confused and walked from the 10th green to the 14 or I think the 16th tee without realising this as there were no sings directing to the 11th tee. A four baller saw us do this but instead of making us, aware they just let us carry on which affected the order of other people playing behind us.

The overall course was in good condition. No hold ups. The only issue was that the bar closed at 18:00

Friendly and affordable
I friendly club, in great condition, not long - but that suits me - and at a decent green fee. Very enjoyable, 3 ball round in 3.45hrs is good at a weekend anywhere.Reviewer Rating
