Tough course
Tough course with good challenging holes. Just starting to get a bit muddy but more frustrating was the long penal grass just off the fairway which necessitated much time looking for balls and sometimes losing them. Likewise, Too many leaves on some fairways which also slowed play down. Drinks in the bar vey expensive!(Round played: Nov 2021 - Score: 102 Handicap: 15.9)

Played there October 28 course quite muddy in good condition for the time of the year nice comfortable round not many people about on the down side no chance of ever going back again left golf clubs in my vehicle overnight due to not wanting to drag wet muddy clubs up to my room only to come down next morning to find security locks broken and all clubs stolen hotel needs to step up security if they want to compete with othersReviewer Rating

Slow front 9 not the fault of the course itself. Mainly down to groups ahead waiting for greens to clear from 250 odd yards out when they had hit their driver off the tee less than 200 yds and somehow believed their irons were going to reach (they did not). Back 9 picked up, as several groups seemed to disappear after 9 holes.

Could be fantastic but...
I have just done a golf trip to De Vere Wokefield (8-10 Oct). Like many other comments I can confirm two things: 1.) the greens are shocking, actually is a disgrace for such a facility. 2.) the course plays very slow, 5 1/2 hrs, 5 hrs, and 5 1/4 hrs for the 3 rounds we played. There are just too many tee times and then they put one/two balls between 4 balls! It made the overall experience disappointing. To give a balanced review, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast and dinners were ok and the bar had a good selection of drinks. It seemed there was a shortage of staff given the volume of people at the venue. This can be a great golf break, just sort the greens and speed of play.Reviewer Rating

Nice Course Worth Visiting
Nice course in good condition. a little slow day 1 was 4.5 hours day 2 a little longer due to a society. No one around to ensure pace of play is kept up.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 91 Handicap: 17.7)

Good society venue

The course was in poor condition especially the greens. The fairways were ok but off them you stood a good chance of loosing you ball.
Would not play again.
But the hotel was excellent so was the food and staff.

Not well set up
Greens weren’t great and the rough was allowed to grow into what one would expect to be a fairway driving area. Not set up for expected clientele and hold ups on the course too long leading to 2 x 6 hour rounds.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 106 Handicap: 21.3)
