Stunning course

Bunkers need serious work. Not just a dusting of sand.
Destone please chipped yet another wedge due to lack of care on bunkers

Wife and i played there last friday. Found the course has too many blind shots to be enjoyable for casual golf. Too many "good shots" resulted in lost balls or rescue shots. Imagine if you play course regularly it is enjoyable. Highlight we both birdied the first par3

Lovely course

Played here while working in the area. Local knowledge is key, especially as pond on second is at driving distance and gorge on 13th was an unexpected penalty to take seeing my ball nestled in the brambles. Deceptively fast greens.

Very cold morning, it is a hilly course but some interesting holes on the back nine. The greens were patchy in places but were quick.

Beautiful course in excellent condition. Very nicely laid out over the hills next to the racecourse this course is not that long but is a fun challenge. Lots of ups and downs and as a result you rarely get a level stance. Tree lined fairways force you to be straight off the tee. Tough to score well as a first time visitor as all but the par 3s are blind tee shots and all you have is a marker post to aim for. Check out the hole diagrams on the tee boards because some holes have water or a deep valley hiding around the corner. Midweek green fee of £18 was a bargain for such a lovely course.
