Played this course May 24th, the course was superb with fast greens and manicured fairways, it is course where you need to think about your next shots, we had a bacon bap after the round it was also superb.

Apart from greens.....
All in good nic apart from greens which were of variable speed and a bit patchy, but seemingly true. I am sure they will improve through the year.A relatively short course but many blind shots and you need to plot your way round. I didnt need a driver.
Several occasions where you need to be aware of other players/holes/horses ;-) (but they give a guide sheet)
You come off a few holes saying "next time i will know where to go".
Good value for money and a nice bar, staff and outlook

Played early at 9.30, round in just over three hours, friendly club, good food and drink.
Course in good condition, many tricky greens keep you on your toes !

Monday Madness it's a steal
Monday madness £12 each - excellent value. Course in immaculate condition. Fairways very tidy, greens running smooth. Quite a hilly course, plenty to think about. A few blind shots and ponds that catch you out - do some course homework before visiting. Great day's golf - definitely returning another Monday for reduced green fees.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 100 Handicap: 22)

I've played this course many times in the past and think it's fantastic. Not too long but some lovely holes and scoring isn't easy. Course is always in good condition and there are some great views over the countryside all the way around.

Very hilly and a test for all levels of golfers. Dropped grass cuttings on fairways and first cut let the course down.

Good course but all bunkers GUR. And have been all season,need sorting and tee box on 14 was left to late in winter to fix ready for season but don't let this put you off,nice round of golf:-)

Lovely parkland course set in hilly countryside, rewarding the straight hitter. Some super views. We found most of the holes were interesting and diverse with something for everyone including a drivable par 4.
Layout of the course well suited to terrain and mature trees. Some longish par fours and nice par threes, especially the stunning 12th. Probably hard to score well at first visit with a lot of blind shots but course cards available to help.
We found the condition of the course excellent, especially given all the recent heavy rain. Fairways very good and greens very well kept. Take a bow groundstaff.
Course was empty when we played but some patience would been needed on a busy day with all the blind shots and some necessary and sensible prioritisation of playing order where tees and greens are close together.
Club house and pro shop staff very pleasant and helpful.
All in all, a delightful golf experience. will be coming again and highly recommenced. excellent value at £14 albeit with a 2 for 1.

Nice and picturesque, altough very hilly after the 7th. 8th is a brute of a par 5. Uphill all the way. 12 is a gr8 par 3.

Smashing course
Great welcome, lovely food. Course is smashing condition despite rain. Greens very smooth, great views from lots of tees. A fee blind tee shots and a couple of very tight fairways. Local knowledge helps.Reviewer Rating
