We last played the course 12 months ago and the course was in good condition and tidy. We played today and the course is sadly quite tatty. Greens were poor and not mown for the past few days. Bunkers were shallow and scruffy. Paths between the holes were a mess and the place looks generally sorry for itself which is disappointing. Hope they sort this out as we like the place.

Course is alright, very tight and most shots are blind. A fair few fore shouts are heard during the round. Buggy is needed as it is very up and down. Good views for certain parts of the course. Greens were slow with debris on the surface, & most tees aren't flat. Apart from that a golf course if no where else is open to play. Enjoy.

The course was soft after recent rain but still played very well. A hilly course which was testing in the conditions on the day. Good value to visit.

Wife and i played there last friday. Found the course has too many blind shots to be enjoyable for casual golf. Too many "good shots" resulted in lost balls or rescue shots. Imagine if you play course regularly it is enjoyable. Highlight we both birdied the first par3

Lovely course
Played here while working in the area. Local knowledge is key, especially as pond on second is at driving distance and gorge on 13th was an unexpected penalty to take seeing my ball nestled in the brambles. Deceptively fast greens.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 13.1)

Very cold morning, it is a hilly course but some interesting holes on the back nine. The greens were patchy in places but were quick.

Quirky, nice, welcoming.
I've played Uttoxeter twice in 2017 and on both occasions have been made very welcome as a non member. We paid £20 each on a Sunday morning which is great value. The course is quirky, as it has a lot of blind tee shots and holes, and where you have to play over greens from adjacent holes, so it can feel cramped. But it has lots of interesting holes, due to the hilly nature of the course, which was in good condition. The greens were very soft after the recent rain, and I'm told the course suffers in winter because of poor drainage. Don't let that put you off, its a cracking course, nice bar, good value.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 92 Handicap: 17.7)

Course held up reasonably well considering overnight deluge. Very good scenery. Course next to Racecourse.
